Jman- Still think Vick will be sensational?

04-26-2004, 03:06 PM #4 Journeyman RX Local Join Date: Jul 2002 Posts: 26,896 Obviously its on account of the cap hit, but giving up draft picks that will likely be very high ones, the whole plan doesn`t seem to have been very well thought out....they gave up more than they had to, and now they will take two Giant steps back before moving forward...if Manning is as good as Ernie thinks.... Hey Rob, you know a few well known posters around here actually think Vick is overrated and won`t amount to much lol? I had this debate last season Rob... Vick will be sensational!

Do you remember this argument. what do you think now?

To be honest Vick fooled me too, I thought he would be a star in this league. Truth is Vick chose the wrong position to play.

I'm trying to figure out what team i was talking about...lol, I aslo said Big Ben was the steal of the draft....

And even further back, way back in the day...I said Moss would be sensational and a steal...But that was at my daughters first BDay party, day of the draft...

Raiders you will have to take my word on that one,lol... What was Moss like #17

I haven't seen him much this year...I know he's struggling, can't say much else.

I just still feel his athletic ability will shine thru...

I don't compare him to Kordell at all, i always hated Stewart, even in his MVP year which I still have a hard time figuring how that happened...Stewart had horrible accuracy, the year he shined, his receiver core was about as good a group as there was...as fast as Stewart rose to the top he was back down missing people and throwing into coverage....Stewart to me always came off as a dumb QB, he should have stayed Slash....

I still think Vick has time to turn it on....He is one guy I would have drafted #1 and maybe blew the draft pick with...I will give it one more full year before I admit I blew that one.
